Sandal Season Part 3: Sandals

In the third and final segment of the Sandal Season blog series, we want to focus on a category of shoes typically overlooked: sandals. Everyone knows of flip flops that have a separator between the big toe and the rest of them, and everyone knows a wedge by it's classic style, but often times sandals don't get their moment to shine.

The term "sandals" covers a wide spectrum of styles, as you can see in the picture below. There are sandals that can be worn casual and dressy and sandals created specifically for outdoor activities as well as sandals covered with straps and sandals not so covered with straps.

Here are 4 styles of sandals we wanted to feature.

1. Baretraps Ganessa Sandals come in two colors, black and light brown (pictured above), and are perfect for wearing with shorts on a day of shopping or a dress for a little bit more of a formal look. The neutral color makes them a functional and versatile addition to any wardrobe.

2. Chaco Z Volv X2 Outdoor Sandals feature double straps and a separate strap that goes around the big toe to provide an optimal fit. Whether you wear them outside hiking or to the grocery store, you're going to feel comfortable and supported. They come in the Hop Scotch Orange color pictured above and a black and silver color.

3. Keen Cypress Outdoor Sandals feature a microfiber upper. The strap across the back provides extra padding and comfort while you're out enjoying nature. The green inside offers a fun pop of color while you're out on the trails.

4. Rocket Dog Arena Sandals scream summer with their fun patterned stitch on top of the neutral colors that make up the foot strap. The strap on the ankle is adjustable and will help provide a snug fit without sacrificing comfort thanks to the cushioned footbed.
