6 Festive 5k Runs You Don't Want To Miss (In Wisconsin)

The holidays will be here before you know it, and that means it's time for the fun runs to start! Between Halloween, Thanksgiving and Christmas, there are so many runs to choose from. Whether you're participating with your friend or the whole family, a festive 5K is always a good time! Grab a pair of running shoes from Rogan's Shoes and choose you're favorite runs from the list below to start getting into the holiday spirit.

1. Chocoholic Frolic - Appleton (October 21)

If you're a chocoholic, this run is for you. Run your heart out and race to the finish line because chocolate will be waiting for you. Whether you are participating in the 5k or 10k, there will be multiple chocolate stops along the way, and some melted chocolate and treats for dipping when complete the run.

2. Hot Cider Hustle - Green Bay (October 28)

Warm yourself up after the race with some hot apple cider! Not only do you get cider and a caramel apple at the end of the race, but you're also running for a great cause: Big Brothers Big Sisters of Northeastern Wisconsin. It's also almost Halloween, so dress up in your favorite Halloween costume while you jog to the finish line!

3. Green Bay Beer Run - Green Bay, WI

Did somebody say free beer? That's right! Pay your registration fee and participate in the 5k  and receive a free beer card for one free beer! If you don't feel like running, that's okay because they also have a .05k for people who just want the beer!

4. 5k Candy Cane Run/Walk - Germantown (November 10)

It's never to early to start celebrating Christmas! This Candy Cane Run is also the same day as the Germantown Christmas Parade and Tree Lighting Activities. Get your holiday spirit on and run to benefit the Germantown Area Chamber of Commerce, and receive a t-shirt and a goody bag!
